WOMEN’S FUNDAMENTALS

Two-day camp specifically designed for women learners; friendly, experienced coaches provide an intimidation-free atmosphere, plus a free tasty lunch each day. Group sizes are small, with only 2 - 4 riders per group.

Learn and develop the fundamental skills to keep you safe, having fun and progress in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Classes are 10am - 3pm (including lunch) and take place in the amazing beginner to intermediate trail network in Lost Lake, Whistler. The last day finishes with aprés on us at one of Whistler’s many fantastic pubs.

Build your confidence, have fun, meet some new friends and get stoked on this amazing sport. The ZEP coaches have years of experience training and teaching women how to ride and can offer the encouraging, relaxed learning environment you’re looking for.

Quality, full suspension, women-specific rental bikes and helmets are available, if required.

WHAT TO BRING...

Comfortable clothes suitable for riding in (shorts past the mid thigh and t-shirts covering your shoulders), shoes with good grip for flat pedals, good quality and well maintained mountain bike, helmet and gloves, hydration pack with water and snacks, spare tube and pump. Arm and leg protection is optional.

Two-day camp in Whistler Bike Park, specifically designed for intermediate riders; friendly, experienced coaches provide an intimidation-free atmosphere, plus a free tasty lunch each day at Gone Bakery. Group sizes are small, with only 2 - 4 riders per group.

Master the skills to build your confidence on blue and black trails. Learn to tackle berms, jumps and drops with consistency and style, or learn how to ride more technical, steeper terrain with speed control and flow.

Sessions run from 10am to 4pm. The last day finishes with aprés on us at one of Whistler’s many fantastic pubs.

  • Riders looking to learn how to jump and drop on small to medium features (e.g. Crank It Up Trail), with confidence.
  • Intermediate riders looking to feel more confident and consistent, overall.
  • Riders looking for professional coaching with detailed analysis, with friendly and effective feedback.
  • Group bookings (2-4 riders that book together) can also decide what they want to learn and the ability level.

  • Bike & Suspension set-up
  • Be introduced to jumping, or consolidate existing jumping skills
  • How to tackle small to medium roll downs or drop offs
  • How to corner with more speed, consistency and flow

WHAT TO BRING...

The two day camp takes place in Whistler Bike Park, so we recommend either a downhill bike or a modern enduro bike with six inches suspension front and rear, good quality brakes and aggressive (not a light XC casing) 2.5” tires. Full face helmet, gloves and knee pads are mandatory. Arm and body protection is optional.
